Flower brick based on Ingres’ painting the Grande Odelisque. The  verse on the base is by 16th century female Turkish poet Fitnat Hanim.

The sides feature the phrase “You and I are Earth”. This comes from delftware plates made to exchange with loved ones during the plague in London in 1665
