Based on the story of the same name and loaned to the Walker Gallery, Liverpool for the exhibition, Claire Partington at the Walker.  The figures link to one of the gallery’s most popular paintings, “Echo and Narcissus”, by John William Waterhouse (1849-1917). Referencing traditional ceramic forms, Partington re-imagines the story for our times.
