The title comes from the French Prose Brut Chronicles, 13th and 14th Century texts telling the history of Britain form legendary origins through to the 14th C. The Monstrous Women are Albina and her 32 sisters who murdered their husbands after forced marriages, set sail and founded Albion (Britain). Then with the local “demons” they populated Albion with a race of Giants including Gog and Magog, the London Giants and guardians of the City of London. My figures are some of their giant daughters.
